Max Kiesler is an award-winning web and interface designer with extensive experience in website development and internet communications. He has designed, programmed, and produced websites for e-commerce companies, higher education institutions, nonprofits, art organizations and technology start-ups. He is currently a co-founder and Partner at Ideacodes.
Max began his internet career as a web researcher with the University at Buffalo Web Team, an award winning electronic media and marketing unit. He benchmarked best practices in higher education web development, and also designed interfaces for the University at Buffalo website, including the first university-wide online photo database. He has also been an interactive designer for the new media division of an advertising agency in New York, and a creative director for an internet start-up with clients such as Hewlett Packard and CMS Inc. Max was also director of web development for his undergraduate alma mater, the College of William and Mary, in which he led the college-wide redesign effort and also implemented the first content management system for university relations and news services.
